The master bedroom with beamed ceiling, is furnished with a king sized bed & 4,000 spring pocket-sprung mattress, luxury mattress topper and 100% cotton linens, chest of drawers, beside tables & hanging rail. Access is via its own steep & narrow original Norfolk Winder stairs, which may not be suitable for older guests, young children or those with mobility issues.

The Twin bedroom

The light & airy twin bedroom is furnished with two single beds with 1,000 spring pocket sprung mattresses, luxury toppers and 100% cotton linens, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers & hanging rail. The Twin room can only be accessed via either the master bedroom or family bathroom, making it better suited to children.

Double bedroom

The Double bedroom

At the front of the cottage, the double bedroom has views across the street, toward the village green & Warham Horseshoes. It is accessed via the more modern stairs in the Reading Room or via the family bathroom. It features a double divan with 4,000 spring pocket sprung mattress, luxury mattress topper and 100% cotton linens, bedside cabinet, small chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe.

Bathroom

Bathroom

The bathroom is between the Twin & Double bedrooms. It features a roll top bath with shower attachment, pedestal hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.  There is a separate shower room downstairs.

All our beds have pocket sprung mattresses, luxury mattress toppers & 100% cotton linens. The twin room is accessed via the master or double bedrooms and so is most suitable for children. There are two staircases to the first floor. The first leading from the Reading Room up to the double bedroom and the second, the original steep Norfolk-winder, directly into the master bedroom from the dining room. Please see the floor plan for more details.

Notes: As with older character cottagesChapel Cottage has Norfolk Winder stairs which are enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. They are uncarpeted, with rope banister & handrail. They are uncarpeted. There are many changes in level between the rooms and out into the garden and the height of some doorways, reflects the age of the cottage. The stairs leading to the master bedroom may not be suitable for older guests, younger children or those with limited mobility. Chapel Cottage does benefits from a second staircase which leads to the double bedroom & is more modern in design.
