Set across two floors, this self-catering holiday cottage can accommodate up to six guests in comfort. The ground floor has a fully equipped gallery kitchen, dining room, two living rooms, and a downstairs cloakroom/shower room.
Enter the cottage via the dining room with it's pammet floors & farmhouse table, large enough to accommodate six guests. Leading off the dining room is the living room, kitchen & utility and shower room. A traditional kite-winder staircase leads directly up to the master bedroom. (We can provide highchairs and an older child's chair for families with younger children.)
The light & airy living room has two comfy sofas, great for snuggling in front of the wood-burning stove or watching a movie on the large screen LCD television with Freesat & Blu-ray player. There are a selection of family movies on DVD for you to choose from. Chapel Cottage has a second downstairs reception room, with additional seating, which is great if the kids want to make use of the games cupboard while the adults relax.
The Reading Room is the second spacious reception room, perfect for relaxing. It has a large sofa and comfy wing-back armchair. There are a selection of local guide books as well as a large choice of novels, so grab a good book and relax. There is a toy cupboard with Monopoly, Jenga, jigsaws, etc as well as children's books & DVDs.
Kitchen & Utility Area
The small, but well-equipped shaker kitchen has an electric cooker with 4-zone ceramic hob, dishwasher & washing machine. There are a range of pans, roasting tins, pyrex dishes, cooking trays, etc and a dinner service for six guests. The utility area has a microwave, undercounter refrigerator with icebox & toaster. Pantry items such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper are also provided. Please note there is no separate freezer. The back door located in the utility area, leads onto a spacious back garden.
Shower Room & Cloakroom
The downstairs shower room features a cubicle shower with Grohe rainhead thermostatic shower, WC, and heated towel rail. There is also a set of coat hooks salvaged from Warham Chapel when the cottage was renovated as well as a shoe rack offering plenty of storage space for coasts & boots after a walk along the beach. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with a roll-top bath.
