Chapel Cottage

We loved our stay so much. We've booked many UK holidays over the past few years & Chapel Cottage is by far the most well equipped place we have stayed! From the many puzzles, wonderful children's books & toys, through to the super comfy beds & really well stocked kitchen! The welcome pack was lovely. The little extras made our stay so fabulous! The location was perfect for our exploring & we really enjoyed our meal at the local pub. The children loved playing outside and the adults enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon gin and tonics on the patio!

A very unique and special place to stay, tucked away in Warham, which is an idyllic village less than 2 miles from fashionable Wells. The cottage is as good as it looks, with a very spacious feel inside, lots of home comforts, nice and warm in the winter and with a very large garden for the summer. Everything works, there’s more than enough equipment, the beds are new and comfortable there’s off-road parking. We spent five very lazy and relaxing days there and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we were holidaying in the area. It’s also super close to Blakeney, Cley and Salthouse. And the pub in the village is really welcoming and serves decent food.

Very well equipped, lots of space for families with children with a usable garden, lovely seating and great bike storage. Excellent location near Wells. Great local pubs and so accessible to the coast. One of the best UK breaks we have had in cosy accommodation at the end of a busy day. Very comfortable beds. Thanks for having us.

Lovely stay at Chapel Cottage. Cosy cottage with space for all 5 of our family to relax and enjoy our break. The two downstairs living rooms are lovely and the bedrooms are warm and enticing. The beds are really comfortable making for great sleeps. The position is great for exploring all the wonderful places to visit along the north Norfolk coast. What a beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. A stone’s throw from all the highlights of the North Norfolk coast, but blissfully quiet away from the hustle and bustle of it all, in the rural village of Warham. The owners have clearly thought of every last detail to make this a true home away from home - if not better!! Spacious yet cosy living areas, kitchen well equipped with everything you need, comfy beds, high quality bed linen, and beautifully decorated throughout with thoughtful touches including a very handy and thorough guide to the property and surrounding area. Our welcome picnic and card from the housekeeper was so kind and thoughtful. Everything from the bed linen, towels and logs for the log burner were first class. The cottage itself was clean, tidy and in good order. You could tell a lot of thought and love had been invested into the cottage. I would definitely like to visit again.

We loved our stay at Chapel Cottage - we didn’t want to leave! Fantastic cottage - cosy, the beds were so comfortable and great location! The pub in Warham is literally 2 minutes walk away & did a great Sunday roast! It’s only a 10 minute drive to Wells plus very easy to get to other places too! Fantastic! We loved it!

At this beautifully furnished, warm and cosy cottage. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Very comfortable beds and great location - walking distance from very friendly local pub serving delicious home cooked food. Short drive from fab beaches and nature reserves at Holkham, Cley & Stiffkey. Hugely helpful owners. Would highly recommend!

Helen went out of her way to make our family Christmas celebrations just that little bit more special. The house was tastefully decorated for the occasion. The beds were sumptuous. We all loved the downstairs bathroom & huge shower. The garden was a lovely size and we did manage to have a couple of morning coffees out there in the sun. We ate at the Warham Horseshoes -1.5 minutes' walk from the gate. We had a couple of bike rides & some excellent walks - many that we learned about thanks to Helen & her recommendations once again. ...and once again we found a comfortable and well equipped “home from home”. The beds are still exceedingly restful. This time the weather was awful but there is always something to do in the area and despite Wells and the coastal strip being exceptionally busy the cottage always provided a cosy and peaceful refuge. In the past, one of the downsides, though normal for Norfolk, was the snail-like internet speed but this time we found that Warham has been upgraded and Chapel Cottage now has full-fibre broadband which allows all the internet you want including TV catchup. As usual, the Three Horseshoes, just a couple of minutes down the road, didn’t disappoint.

Our base for our recent holiday in North Norfolk. It is in the little village of Warham and just a few minutes drive from the town of Wells-Next-to-the-Sea. This delightful cottage had everything we could want (I had to drag my son away from the toys provided), my husband was kept happy as he had wifi & my mum had more than enough books to read. The beds were extremely comfy & the kitchen was very well equipped. There is a pub just across the road should you wish not to cook. From the cottage it was easy to reach Morston Quay to watch the Seals, Sheringham Park for the Easter hunt & Wells to enjoy a lovely walk to Holkham beach where we were lucky enough to see the seals from the beach. Very clean and well equipped. Beds are so comfy and the cottage was lovely and cosy. This was our second stay at Chapel cottage and we wouldn't hesitate to return again. Great communication with the owners.

It is ideally situated to enjoy all that North Norfolk has to offer, and is well equipped to deal with all weather conditions! The private garden is perfect for breakfasts/lunches and the local pub does great evening meals! We hope to return!

We've stayed in a lot of cottages around the country, but this way by far the best.

The little touches and attention to detail around the cottage were spot on! The location is perfect for exploring Norfolk.

The Warham Horseshoes pub is just a few steps away and served gorgeous food.

Wells-next-the-Sea is lovely and we could have happily spent everyday in ten on the gorgeous beach.

We could not find fault & will definitely be returning and highly recommending.
