Set across two floors, the cottage, believed to date back to the 17th century, can accommodate up to six guests in comfort. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, two living rooms and a downstairs shower room.
Dining Room
Guests enter the cottage via the dining room with its pamment floors & farmhouse table, which can seat six guests. Leading off the dining room is the living room, kitchen & utility and shower room. Traditional narrow, steep Norfolk Winder stairs leads directly up to the master bedroom. There is a wireless speaker. Highchairs and an older child's chair for families with younger children are available.
Living Room (one of two living rooms)
The light & airy living room has two comfy sofas, great for snuggling in front of the wood-burner or watching a movie on the
LCD Smart-TV with Freesat & Blu-ray player. There are a selection of family movies on DVD for you to choose from or steam using your own streaming accounts. The Reading Room is a second downstairs living room, which is great if the kids want to watch a movie, while the adults relax in front of the wood-burner.
Reading Room (second living room)
The Reading Room is a second spacious living room. It has a large comfy sofa and wing-back armchair. There are a selection of local guide books & choice of novels. There is a toy cupboard with Monopoly, Jenga, jigsaws, etc as well as children's books & DVDs. A modern staircase leads up to the double bedroom.
Kitchen & Utility
The well-equipped gallery kitchen has an electric oven, 4-zone ceramic hob, dishwasher & washing machine. There are a range of pans, roasting tins, pyrex dishes, cooking trays, etc as well as a dinner service for six guests. The utility area has built in microwave, undercounter refrigerator, undercounted freezer & toaster. Pantry items such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper are also provided. The back door located in the utility area, leads out to the patio & garden.
Shower Room & Cloakroom
The downstairs shower room features a cubicle shower with Grohe rainhead thermostatic shower, WC, and heated towel rail. There is also a set of coat hooks salvaged from Warham Chapel when the cottage was renovated as well as a shoe rack offering plenty of storage space for coats & boots after a walk along the beach. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with a roll-top bath.
