Access & mobility

As with older character cottages, Chapel Cottage has Kite-Winder stairs which are enclosed, steep, curved & narrow. They are uncarpeted. There are many changes in level between the rooms and out into the garden and the height of some doorways, is lower than modern standards, reflecting the age of the cottage. The stairs leading from the Dining Room to the Master Bedroom may not be suitable for older guests, younger children or those with limited mobility. Below we have tried to give examples of features in line with many cottages of this age.

There is a step up to the toilet & two steps into the shower

Coming into the cottage there is a step to the front door and then an step down into the dining room
